The Ardenwood Farms, a quaint family farm located on Ardenwood Boulevard, is integral to Fremont history and culture and has a century-long legacy. The modern-day farm is a remnant of the once huge estate that George and Clara Patterrson’s family had farmed on for 100 years. The Ardenwood Farms is open to the general public, offering an experience suitable for all ages. Operating from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Tuesday through Sunday throughout the year (excluding Thanksgiving and Christmas Day), the Ardenwood Farms is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the nature and culture here in Fremont, California.

The Ardenwood Farms offer many features and attractions that can be enjoyed by everyone. Among the highlights are the Arden Station and Deer Park Station, where a journey on the time-traveling train takes you back in time to the late 1800s and early 1900s; the scenic route encompasses the beautiful Victorian Garden, the original house the Pattersons lived in, the charming Farmyard Cafe serving delicious food and drinks, the Animal Farms and tours, and of course, the famous fall pumpkin patch! There are so many attractions that truly make the Ardenwood Farms an experience worth the money.

As the fall season kicks into full gear, the Ardenwood Farms are ready. With their annual harvest festival, residents can enjoy seasonal activities which they can participate in such as cider pressing. Visitors can also immerse themselves in the late 19th century way of life. The Ardenwood Farms also have spooky nighttime rides through the haunted Ardenwood Forest, ensuring a truly eerie experience.

Adding on to their Halloween and fall activities, the Ardenwood Farms also offer scarecrow-making activities for all ages and the opportunity to make corn husk dolls from corn. Along with the pumpkin patch and corn activities, visitors can indulge in warm pumpkin treats and navigate corn mazes.
